January 27, 2013 One of the world's biggest fire in the history broke out.
- Around 2:30 in the morning, fire broke out at the Kiss Nightclub in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, causing the death of 242 victims and 168 casualties.
- According to the investigation, the firs started from a small pyrotechnics show after a band perfomance. The sound insulating material in the ceiling burned, thus, covering the nightclub with lots of people, with smoke and fire.

January 27, 2010 Apple CEO Steve Jobs took the stage at Apple press conference at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco to introduce another history of consumer electronics.
- Jobs introduced Apple's larger, 9.7-inch multitouch tablet: the iPad, which runs a modified version of iOS. 
- He later said that Apple begun developing the iPad before the iPhone, but temporarily shelved upon realizing that its ideas would work in a mobile phone.

Enero 27, 2010 Ipinakilala ng Apple CEO na si Steve Jobs ang iPad sa Apple press conference na ginanp sa Yerba Buena Center for the Arts sa San Francisco.
- Ipinakilala ni Jobs ang unang Apple tablet na may 9.7-inch multi-touch screen, na may modified version ng iOS operating system. 
- Ayon kay Jobs, nauna nilang dinivelop ang iPad bago ang iPhone, pero hinuli na itong ilabas.
