January 29, 1991 The Philippine National Police or PNP was created by virtue of Republic Act 6975, known as the “Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990".
-The PNP came into Camp Crame, Quezon City, when the Philippine Constabulary and the Integrated National Police were merged and retired as mandated by law.-The PNP’s motto is “To Serve and To Protect”. Its daily tasks are anchored on the values of Maka-Diyos (God-fearing), Makabayan (nationalistic), Makatao (humane), and Makakalikasan (environment-friendly).

-Nabuo ang PNP mula sa binuwag at pinagsamang Philippine Constabulary and the Integrated National Police na nagkampo sa Camp Crame sa Quezon City.
-Ang bagong motto ng PNP ay “To Serve and To Protect” at ang kanilang core values ay Maka-Diyos (God-fearing), Makabayan (nationalistic), Makatao (humane), at Maka-kalikasan (environment-friendly).
